UPDATED: (We should clarify that the money to pay for the school improvements would come from capital funds raised by the district with a bond issue, and not from the general funds that are strained right now).

“If they need to save money, couldn’t they change the elementary school boundaries to move some of the Belinder kids to the Prairie or Corinth areas?” wrote one parent.
