Engage in a Sierra Club “how-to” workshop on defending EPA’s Clean Power Plan (CPP). Learn how you can help protect public health, address climate change and promote renewable energy.
Despite its stated mission to protect human health and the environment, EPA recently proposed repeal of the CPP, which was enacted to limit carbon pollution from our biggest source, coal-fired power plants. Carbon emissions make climate change worse, pollute the air, sicken our families and disproportionately affect the most vulnerable among us.
Tell EPA you support the original CPP, for the future of our families and communities.
Open to the public at no charge. Meet in the downstairs Social Hall at Colonial United Church of Christ, 7039 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS.
