Hometown Hero Kid Fest

Hometown Hero is the theme of YVC Day 2019. Youth Volunteer Corps is an international organization that engages youth ages 11-18 in meaningful community projects. These youth will be Hometown Heroes and volunteer with children Pre-K through 5th grade.

Hometown Hero Kid Fest will take place at the Monticello Library located 22435 W 66th St, Shawnee, KS 66226 on March 2, 2019 from 2-4pm for children Pre-K through 5th grade. Register for a fun day of arts & culture activities, stem activities, healthy lifestyle activities and more! This is a FREE event for the public.

What do heroes wear? A hero may look different for many people. Wear your favorite superhero costume or dress up as your own hometown hero. This could include dressing up as a firefighter, doctor, police officer, dentist or anything you choose.
