Southminster Presbyterian Church invites our community and friends to our October offerings. Please mark your calendars and join us for fun and fellowship.

Community Concerts

  • Two Strings and a Hammer: Saturday, October 2, 2021 | 2 p.m.

A concert for piano and strings featuring Nathaniel Humphrey, violin; Jason West, cello; and Patricia Eccles, piano. Come hear our community friends perform works for piano and strings in the Southminster sanctuary. This concert is free and open to the public. Masks are required to be worn while inside the building.

  • The Goldenberg Duo: Saturday, October 16, 2021 | 7 p.m.

Hear the sweet sounds of the KC Symphony at Southminster. Sister and brother duo, Susan and William Goldenberg, will serenade us with works by Mozart, Debussy, Gershwin, and more in this concert for violin and piano. This concert is free and open to the public. Masks are required to be worn while inside the building.

Fall Festival

  • Sunday, October 17, 2021 | 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Join our church family for a fun afternoon of outdoor entertainment and fellowship including children’s activities, games, music, and apple cider and donuts.

Worship at Southminster

  • Jazz Worship: Sunday, October 31, 2021 | 11 a.m.

Ghosts, goblins, ghouls… all are welcome! Please join us for jazz worship on this Halloween Sunday. Musicians Ken Lovern (piano), Stan Kessler (trumpet), and Gerald Spaits (bass), lead us in song on this hallowed day.
