Featured Event: Kansas City Civic Orchestra outdoor concert

KCCO is excited to invite you to a live outdoor performance this Sunday at 3:00 p.m. on the East side of Atonement Lutheran Church. This will be our first live performance in over a year! The festive program includes America the Beautiful, Washington Post March, 1812 Overture, Finlandia, and Celebration Settling the West, an original piece composed by KCCO’s principal clarinetist, Debbie Allen

Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket. If there is inclement weather we will have to cancel the performance, so be sure to do your “no rain” dance!

The Kansas City Civic Orchestra is a volunteer-based community orchestra that offers quality concerts and outreach performances to the KC metro area free of charge. For information on additional upcoming outdoor performances visit Civic in the City on our website. You may also view virtual performances on our YouTube channel.

Making quality orchestral performances accessible to all in the metro area is a core element of KCCO’s mission, and we are extremely grateful to the listeners and supporters who enable us to offer our concerts and performances at no cost. Donations of any amount are always welcome on-site at our events or online
