The St. Louis company that introduced two Shack Breakfast & Lunch restaurants in Overland Park is bringing a third Johnson County location to Lenexa.
Shack Breakfast & Lunch is slated to open at 9329 Harbinger Street — near 95th and Renner — by the last weekend of March.
Brant Baldanza, co-owner of OG Hospitality in St. Louis, said he and Jon Fogarty, the other co-owner, found this location within a few months of working with their broker, Rubenstein.
“Right off the bat, it was a great relationship working back and forth to get us in there,” Baldanza said. “And also, Lenexa checks off all the boxes too for our growth.”
The Lenexa restaurant will look similar to the Overland Park locations, including a full bar with the restaurant’s signature drinks and dishes. However, it will also have barnwood on the wall for guests to “leave their mark,” as well as outdoor seating on a veranda overlooking a wooded area.
Baldanza said they plan to open two or three restaurants in Johnson County sometime in 2021.
“The spaces are there, we’re going to try to grab them. We just got our plates full right now,” Baldanza said. “We are going to continue growing in Kansas; we absolutely are so grateful to be a part of the community there. It is such a fun area, not to mention I can be there more often and eat at my favorite restaurant now, Q39 and K-Macho.”
Hours of operation will be similar to those of the Overland Park locations. Breakfast is served 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day of the week; lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
