The Saint Luke’s Community Hospital in Roeland Park opened Monday.

St. Luke’s Roeland Park Community Hospital now open. St. Luke’s Community Hospital opened Monday, July 9, and is now seeing patients. The facility is one of two new community hospitals operated by Saint Luke’s Health System and serving northeast Johnson County. Bob Bonney, Saint Luke’s Health System Senior Vice President of Non-Ambulatory Services and Business Development, said the Roeland Park hospital’s strategic location can serve as “a kind of pressure release valve for the Saint Luke’s Hospital emergency room.” Just like St. Luke’s new facility at 75th and Metcalf, the Roeland Park facility has seven emergency department rooms and eight in-patient beds. Both facilities offer medical services including CT scans, radiology, a lab and a pharmacy.
