By Chad Taylor
After about five years of writing for what was the Prairie Village Post and then grew to what is now the Shawnee Mission Post, I am asking for your help. My goal with this column has always been for it to be a source of relevant real estate information for our community. This community has supported our business for 14 year now and we want to continue to give back to it.
That being said, I would like to hear from you: What would you like to hear more about? It can be anything home related. We at The Taylor-Made Team like to say that we are advocates for home ownership and real estate investment. I do my best to keep our community informed of the real estate trends in real time yet I realize that most readers can only tolerate so many columns with tons of stats and bar graphs. I geek out about those things, and I realize that not all readers do.
So what would you like to read about? How can we better serve you as a homeowner? Or as a potential homeowner?
Would you like to know more about unique homes in the area and the stories behind them? Would you like to hear directly from contractors some do’s and don’ts when it comes to home improvement? Would you like to hear from buyers and sellers out there in the market today to get a feel for what the process looks and feels like?
I want this column to serve our community and reflect its curiosities and challenges as it pertains to real estate. Please share your thoughts as a Facebook comment or you can email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. As a gesture of thanks, we will also enter everyone who submits a topic suggestion into a drawing for a prize. And we will make it worth your while. I promise.
