Shawnee police investigating armed robbery at O’Reilly Auto Parts


Shawnee police say they’re looking for two men who entered the O’Reilly Auto Parts near Shawnee Mission Parkway and Nieman Road last night and threatened employees with weapons.

The department’s release on the incident is below:

At approximately 9:40pm Shawnee Police responded to the O’Reilly Auto Parts at 6136 Nieman Rd to investigate an armed robbery. Employees at the business reported that two armed suspects entered the business and demanded money from the registers. Suspect descriptions are: S1, white male, tall and heavy set wearing a black and blue bandana. S2, white male, approximately 5 feet tall and thin build with a black and red bandana. A Shawnee Police K9 arrived in the area and searched for the suspects with negative results. At this time there is no vehicle description to provide. No injuries were reported.
