Johnson County Med-Act hosting Thanksgiving safety tweet-along. Thanksgiving can be a busy time for emergency responders, so as a way to raise awareness about the most common calls they received during the holiday season, Johnson County Med-Act will be hosting a tweet-along tomorrow from Shawnee. Paramedics will be posting video to Facebook and Twitter throughout the day starting at 8 a.m., with information about common Thanksgiving injuries as well as check-ins from ambulances in action. Anyone who has a question for the paramedics can use the hashtag #AskMedAct on Facebook and Twitter.
