Kansas Sec. of State Kris Kobach will be the number two man on President Donald Trump’s new commission to review voter fraud behind Vice President Mike Pence.
Kobach, who has made a career out of promoting the idea that voter fraud is widespread in America, is a controversial figure, accused by voting right activists of trying to keep legally eligible residents from the polls. Kobach was a vocal supporter of Trump’s assertion that “millions” of ballots had been cast illegally in the November elections, despite lack of evidence for the claim.
