Custom promotions company 3 Cups Media last week celebrated the opening of its new location on Johnson Drive in Mission.

The company, which will celebrate its third birthday later this year, had previously officed out of a space a few blocks away on Woodson, but the opportunity to move to the more prominent location at 5106 Johnson Drive proved attractive to owner Serena Schermoly. The new location gave the company more space to showcase the products is can produce, while also keeping Schermoly close to family. Her daughter and son-in-law operate the recently renovated Salon Bearde on Johnson Drive and live nearby.

“Two minutes, and I can see the little ones,” Schermoly said.

Schermoly, who also serves as a representative of Ward 2 on the Prairie Village City Council, said her company focuses on custom products, from 3-D art to jump drives, that are less common in the promotional space.

“We’ll do anything with your name on it — pens, hats, cups — but we really like to focus on custom items you won’t see anywhere else,” she said. “If we’re doing a full marketing program for someone, we want it to stand out with unique items.”

3 Cups Media also offers branding services and website design.

“Northeast Johnson County’s been good do us, and we wanted to stay here,” she said.
