Prairie Village women find presidential poster fallen into road. Two Prairie Village residents were walking around Franklin Park Tuesday when they heard the sound of broken glass. Going to investigate, they found a framed poster that appeared to have fallen out of a vehicle into the road. Anyone with information about who the poster belongs to should contact the Prairie Village Police Department at 913-642-6868.

Shawnee Mission South defeats Shawnee Mission East in rain-delayed soccer game. The Lady Raiders soccer team bested SM East on Wednesday in the completion of a game that started Tuesday but was delayed by rain. Play resumed last night with 25 minutes remaining in the first half and no score, and the Lancers looked to be on the attack, opening scoring with a goal from Emily Cooper. But SM South answered back quickly, with Avery Woods, Jordyn Martin and Emma Jarrell rattling off goals that the Lancers couldn’t answer. The 3-1 loss moves SM East to 1-1 on the year.
