Rosehill Elementary students honored for inventive steering design. Two groups of second graders from Rosehill Elementary school received recognition for their submissions to the Toshiba/National Science Teachers Association ExploraVision competition. Merriam woman killed in crash after car lands on her vehicle. Sherry L. Miller, 63, of Merriam was killed Monday when a car driven by an 18 year old hit a grass embankment and flew into her vehicle.
