Prairie Village-based Care Haven opens sixth Johnson County residential memory care home

Prairie Village-based Care Haven homes recently opened its sixth residential facility for people living with dementia.

The new home is located near I-435 and Roe Avenue in Overland Park. Founded in 2004, Care Haven now operates four homes in OP and two in Leawood. With space for 49 residents in its “home-plus homes,” it is now the largest provider of its kind in the county. The new home was remodeled to provide a “a warm, family-style setting, one that might remind you of your own home,” said Neil Barnett, Care Haven’s founder.
