Crushed Red, a fast-casual concept based out of the St. Louis suburb Clayton, Mo., this week opened its first Kansas location in Overland Park.
The new restaurant is located at 10640 Roe Avenue, just north of the I-435 interchange. Crushed Red features a variety of chopped salads and pizzas, as well as a selection of soups and sides. Launched in 2012, the concept is built around its chopped salad menu, which includes inspiration from a variety of cuisines, from the salad Nicoise-inspired “Tunapalooza” to the Tex-Mex “South of the Border.”
The Overland Park location is part of an aggressive expansion plan by the company, which is looking to open at least 20 franchised restaurants in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas in the next four years. Crushed Red currently has no other locations in the Kansas City metro.
Crushed Red’s Overland Park location is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
