
It was a happy homecoming experience for SM North Friday night when the Indians beat Lansing by a score of 58-28.
The Indians are now 2-1 on the young season after an opening game win over SM South 38-7 and a loss in Lawrence last week.
SM North’s highly-rated quarterback Will Schneider went 17 of 31 from the air for 249 yards, scoring four touchdowns. Schneider also rushed for more than 100 yards.
Reese Sila had three rushing touchdowns with 76 yards gained. The Indians returned one interception for a touchdown. SM North jumped off to a 28-7 lead in the first period and never looked back.
SM North plays Olathe Northwest on Thursday at North stadium.
