It is SM North’s turn to fill the streets today with school spirit at the annual homecoming parade.
High-spirited Indians will leave the school at 2 p.m. headed down Johnson Drive east to Lamar and then turning south to Martway and then to Broadmoor.
The annual parade which is filled with student groups and floats, has hit an unlucky streak and was canceled because of weather in the last two years.
The festivities continue tonight at the football game where the homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime. The Indians take on Lansing at the SM North stadium at 7 p.m.
A reception for the homecoming candidates and their families will be held before the game at 6 p.m.
The homecoming queen candidates include: Madison Brown, Emily Cooper, Magdelaine Hendricks, Natalie Lanman, Morgan Latham, Sandy Phommachan, Tessa Poterbin, Kitana Rattanavong, Kati Sneegas, Tiana Stacker
