Sewer line break in Fairway. Crews were at work Thursday repairing a break in a sewer line on Brookridge. The line pumps to State Line.

Westwood resident in crossroads concert. Jennifer Robinson, a Westwood resident, will team up with guitarist Jack Sharman as special guests opening a July 8 concert for Megan Metheney and Rebekah West at 7 p.m. July 8 at the Beggar’s Table Church & Gallery in Kansas City. Robinson is a singer and conductor versed in everything from vocal jazz to opera. Sharman is composer in residence for Stone Lion Puppets. Metheney on harp and West on percussion are starting an American tour.

Mission Hills issues update on 63rd Street construction. Contractors working on the massive infrastructure modernization project along 63rd Street in Mission Hills have begun work replacing the storm sewer at Ensley Lane and replacing gas lines on the south side of the street. Mission Hills has issued an updated detour map for the project, showing that three intersections crossing 63rd Street are now open.
