RideKC will be adding bus routes in NEJC starting next month.
Northeast Johnson County residents will have more frequent opportunities to hitch a ride on a KCATA bus starting early next month.
RideKC has announced that it will begin expanded service on a number of Johnson County routes starting Tuesday, July 5.
Among the service additions that will benefit northeast Johnson County are the addition of a new route — numbered 495 — that will operate during the morning and afternoon rush hour periods from 74th Terrace and Broadway in the Waldo area traveling through Prairie Village and Leawood along 95th Street out to Oak Park Mall.
RideKC is also doubling service on route 575, which runs from 75th Street and Troost west to Quivira and then south to the University of Kansas Edwards Campus. Additionally, route 75, which runs from Waldo along 75th Street then out to several major employers in Overland Park and Leawood, will be adding a fourth trip.
RideKC is offering complimentary passes as part of the introduction of the new services. You can find out more about the free pass offer and details about the route expansions here.
