Second grand slam in as many days from Luke Anderson helps SM East secure Regionals home field. Pretty tough to argue that Luke Anderson has any trouble stepping up in big situations for SM East’s baseball team. The SM East junior blasted a grand slam out of the Lancers home field for the second day in a row on Wednesday. The home run helped propel the Lancers to a 10-0 win over St. James Academy, securing the right to host a home game in the first round of Regionals play. Pitcher Zebulon Vermillion was in top form as well, pitching a no-hitter over five innings of work. The Lancers wrap up regular season play today against SM South.
