Emergency repairs to a 24-inch wastewater main will slow traffic on Mission Road this weekend.

Johnson County Wastewater crews are expected to need two to three days to complete the repair work on the damaged main near the intersection of 87th Street. The construction crews have shut off one of the two northbound lanes of Mission Road and are diverting traffic to one of the southbound lanes.

Prairie Village city officials recommend motorists consider using 83rd Street or 95th Street to reach detour routes on State Line Road and Roe Avenue.
