Obituary: Michelle Wolfe, 71

Wolfe-obit-photo1Michelle Wolfe, 71, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away February 27, 2016 at her home. She suffered from Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).

She was born February 23, 1945 in Beloit, KS, daughter of Walter and Agnes Klose. She was raised in Wichita and Prairie Village. She was born a Jayhawk and became an Iowa Hawkeye by marriage.

Michelle retired from Paul Revere Insurance Co. and later worked as a medical receptionist for KU Med West and St. Luke’s Hospital South. She married Channing Wolfe February 1, 1974 and they have lived in Overland Park since their wedding.

She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Channing, two daughters, Amy Nachtigal (Jay) and Debbie Jackson (Dan) and four grandchildren; Kate, Calleigh, Cole and Abby,

A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held later. Memorial contribution may be given to the Alzheimer Association – Heart of America Chapter, theTHEAFTD.org or the Brainsupportnetwork.org.
