New bus service starts Monday. A new major regional bus route will connect Johnson County bus routes with the KU Medical Center at 39th and Rainbow. The new route will offer hourly northbound service from the Mission Transit Center to KU Med from 5:39 a.m. to 8:38 a.m. Afternoon southbound service will operate hourly from 2:45 p.m. to 5:44 p.m. The area serves an estimated 10,000 employees and students every day. Johnson County Archives access moving to appointment only. Johnson County Archives & Records Management announced this week that starting Jan. 4, its on-site references services will move to appointment only. To date, the archives staff has been available to help field reference requests at its Olathe facility during normal business hours Monday through Friday.
