NEJCsters take their Christmas decorations pretty seriously, but only a select few can claim official bragging rights as the most talented exterior illuminators.
In Roeland Park, those bragging rights go to the Nielsen family, who won the city’s holiday outdoor decorating contest.
The city considered dozens of entries before making its announcement earlier this week. Second place went to Brandon Noethe and Jessi LeSage; third went to Sam French; and honorable mentions went to Brian and Monica Frame and Joni Bender.
