St. Ann students donate 2,000 diapers to charity. St. Ann students on Thursday morning showed the fruits of their labor to raise more than $1,000 to help purchase diapers for Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph and Happy Bottoms. Student council representatives were able to buy 2,000 diapers with that money, which they handed over to Catholic Charities Thursday morning. “This donation will help families we serve meet an immediate need, but it will also help them move forward,” Communications Coordinator Lisa Tulp said. “Clean diapers keep a baby healthy, and day care providers require parents to supply them for their children, so it’s especially helpful to the working parents we serve.”
