4 SM East athletes make college commitments official on National Signing Day

SM East’s library was packed Wednesday afternoon with friends, family and faculty of four seniors who participated in National Signing Day, making their commitments to play sports at the college level official.

The players were:

Mary Booton, who will be playing volleyball at William Jewell College

Aidan Epstein, who will be playing tennis at Providence College

Andy Spencer, who will be playing golf at the University of Kansas

Joey Wentz, who will be playing baseball at the (defending national champion) University of Virginia
