Credit union inside Prairie Village Hy-Vee robbed Thursday morning; no weapons shown

The Community America Credit Union inside the Prairie Village Hy-Vee at 7620 State Line Road was robbed around 11 a.m. this morning.

The FBI in Kansas City said the suspect gave a teller a note that demanded money, but that no weapons were displayed and there were no injuries. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-30s. He is approximately six feet tall with a heavy build and was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes and a baseball hat. He also has a loss of pigmentation around his face.

The suspect was last seen heading north on foot to a newer black Cadillac sedan that was parked near 76th and Sagamore and then left in the car.
