An invitation came forth and Nancy Lou left this world to join the next life reuniting with mother, brother, grandparents and close friends. Born and raised in Wilmette, IL, Nancy Lou attended New Trier High School, worked in customer service at Jewel Food Store in Evanston, IL, studied Hotel/Motel Management & Hospitality at Oakton College in Des Plaines, IL and was recruited into the internship program of Westin Hotels & Resorts. Her career took off at The Westin, Chicago. She was attracted to Event Planning and worked with Creative Entertainment in Chicago. She married into a hotel career and with her husband resided in Shanghai, Denver, Singapore, Cincinnati and finally, Kansas City. Along that path she became enamored with Asian culture, collecting Asian furniture, artifacts and artwork. She became a self-proclaimed “scratch golfer” working with the Shanghai Golf & Country Club, Golf Asia, Shaker Run Golf Club in Cincinnati and the National Kidney Foundation in Kansas City raising funds via nation-wide golf events – never a golfer, but always a relationship builder.
Her children were her pride and joy. She leaves behind her sons, Adam (Kansas City) and Stefan (Phoenix), and former spouse Mark (Kansas City). She always enjoyed gathering with her parents, siblings, their spouses and her nieces and nephews; father, Don Moloney (Northfield, IL), sisters Mary Anne (New York) Diane, (Cedar Falls, IA), Elizabeth (Vernon Hills, IL), and brothers D.J. (Arlington Heights, IL), Christopher (Floyd Knob, IN) and Adam (Glen Ellyn, IL)
