They were having a dog party all over northeast Johnson County Tuesday night and those dogs could go.

Prairie Village, Mission, Merriam and Leawood invited the NEJC dogs to do the honors of bringing an end to the summer pool season before the plug is pulled and in the pools drained. The pools were filled with wet dogs and tennis balls – and a few dog companions.

Here are a few scenes from the Tuesday party at Praiire Village which opened its pool for the first time for a “Puppy-Pool-Ooza” closing.
