What do you do to top an undefeated season and a state championship? Parents and students got a chance to see what the next version of SM East football might look like during the Blue Black scrimmage Friday.

The Lancers will open play this week – Sept. 4 – against Gardner Edgerton.  Friday night the record number of freshmen who turned out for football got a chance to show off their skills along the varsity. The team will have 12 returning varsity players to build around.

After they ended their portion of the scrimmage Friday, varsity players walked across the field and thanked spectators for coming out to watch.
