NEJC resident Fred Logan winner of JoCo Library Foundation’s Excellence in Community Advocacy award

LoganFredFred Logan, the Leawood resident whose law firm Logan Logan & Watson is based in Prairie Village, is among the winners of this year’s Pinnacle Awards from the Johnson County Library Foundation.

Logan will take home the Excellence in Community Advocacy Award, one of four awards given by the foundation this year.

Here’s the foundation’s write up on Logan’s contributions:

FRED LOGAN, embodies civic leadership in Johnson County and across the region. An attorney by trade, his history of supporting Johnson County Library spans 35 years and includes serving as the president of the Friends of Johnson County Library in 1984-1985. He has served as the President of United Community Services, Chair of the Kansas Board of Regents and as Trustee for Johnson County Community College. He has chaired a number of public funding campaigns for the Shawnee Mission School District, Johnson County Parks and Recreation and the successful campaign to establish the Johnson County Education Research Triangle.

Founded in 2002, the Pinnacle Awards honor Johnson Countians whose contribution to the arts and other fields have made the community stronger.
