A car crashed through the south side of Urban Table restaurant at Corinth Square around 2 p.m. Tuesday leaving a diner with minor injuries.
Two women eating lunch inside the restaurant at the time of the crash say the car lurched through the window and hit a table where an elderly man was dining. Police at the scene say he suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver, who the two eyewitnesses described as an elderly woman, did not sustain any serious injuries.
Emergency responders from the Prairie Village Police Department and Consolidated Fire District No. 2 were on the scene as several restaurant patrons and passersby looked on.

On Tuesday July 21, 2015, at approximately 2:07 p.m. an injury accident was reported at Urban Table, 8232 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas. One vehicle drove into the south side of the business, causing significant damage to the building and causing minor injuries to a patron. The driver was not injured and the patron was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
