SM East graduate appears briefly on FOX’s Beat the Champions. Viewers across the nation tuned in to FOX’s Beat the Champions Tuesday caught a glimpse of an SM East tennis champion. Olivia Sneed, who graduated from SM East in 2014 and won the state 6A singles title before heading on start her college playing career at Ohio State, was shown in the stands cheering on her sister Arielle Raycene as she attempted to outswim Olympic Champion Missy Franklin. Sneed and her mother were in several shots in the show’s second segment. You can see the episode here.

Art Glass Productions being sold. Sharon Miller of Art Glass Productions in downtown Mission has sold the business and will be retiring. Miller said that after more than 22 years in the business, she has decided to retire. The shop produces unique glass engravings. Art Glass Productions is located at 5812 Johnson Drive in downtown Mission.
