Food on Friday: Simply radishing

We’re big fans of radishes here at the shawneemissionpost.com household, especially this time of year.These Peter Rabbit-esque gems can hardly be contained in our garden beds, even though we eat them almost every night. They’re so beautiful and tasty – the perfect addition to salads, tacos, and buttered bread slices.

But our favorite way to eat them is the simplest: dunked whole into creamy butter and topped with sea salt. It’s the perfect combination of crunchiness, richness and saltiness, with just a little bit of that signature radish bite.

I didn’t think there would be a way to improve on this simple, lovely dish, until I came across this. We’re hosting a dinner party this weekend and I can’t wait to try it out. How do you like to eat radishes?
