Shawnee Mission School District receives AEF from Jordan Robert Mann Foundation. The Shawnee Mission School District has a new life-saving device that was given as a gift in honor of a 2003 SM East graduate. Jordan Robert Mann died of a previous undiagnosed heart defect at the age of 22. His family established a foundation that promotes heart assessments for athletes. This week, the Jordan Robert Mann Foundation donated a portable automated external defibrillator to the district, which will be available at the district’s soccer fields.
