The boys Lancer Lacrosse team will be looking to rebound this week against Blue Valley North and rival Pembroke Hill after suffering two losses on a road trip over the weekend.

The Lancers had momentum as they hit the road for a two-game trip to St. Louis this weekend, having faced rival Rockhurst at Rockhurst Thursday and walked away with a 7-5 win in a tough defensive battle.

But the Lancers were overmatched in a rainy game Saturday in St. Louis against DeSmet High School, falling 16-7. They kept neck and neck with St. Louis University High School in a game Sunday, but gave up the game winning goal with less than a second remaining and fell 6-5.

The SM East vs. Pembroke game will be 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 1 at Pembroke Hill.
