Easter egg hunts will have NEJC children hopping Saturday

If you are looking for an Easter Egg Hunt this weekend, you are in luck. Several cities are holding their annual egg hunts on Saturday.

Here is a roundup of the hunts of which we are aware at this point:
Roeland Park will hold its Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday in Nall Park at 48th and Nall Avenue. The actual run for the eggs will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m.

Mission will hold its Bunny Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Sylvester Powell Community Center on the north side of the building. The hunt times are scattered by age group beginning with 10 and older Egg Olympics at 10:15 a.m. followed by eight months to 18 months (with parent) at 10:30 a.m.; 18 months to three years at 10:50 a.m.; four to six years at 11:10 a.m.; and seven to nine years at 11:30 a.m. Mission’s event also features face painting, egg races, inflatables and other activities on site.

Westwood will hold its Community Easter Egg Hunt at 3 p.m. Saturday in Joe D. Dennis Park on Rainbow Blvd. The hunt will begin at 3 p.m. and the Easter Bunny is expected to be available for pictures. The hunt will move indoors at city hall if the weather is bad.

Westwood Hills also has signs out for an annual hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday on The Green.
