Leawood city councilors still have two months to figure out how they’ll treat Little Free Libraries in the city code moving forward before a moratorium on enforcement of the provision that made them illegal in the city expires.
But as the clock ticks towards the moratorium’s expiration, more Little Free Libraries keep popping in the city.
In December, we told you about a Little Free Library that went up in the front yard of the Chaffees’ house on Manor Road. Today, a reader let us know about a new Little Free Library at 91st Street and Meadow — precisely .4 miles down the street from Spencer Collins’ Little Free Library.
The homeowners weren’t around when we stopped by to snap a pic, so I don’t have much of a backstory for you. But it’s a solid, straightforward installation with a nice collection:
