SM North to debut musical next week. SM North’s theatre department next week will put on 13, a musical that examines the perils of life as a young teenager. First performed on Broadway in 2008, the musical tell the story of Evan Goldman, a boy who faces turning 13 in front of a backdrop of divorcing parents, a situation that forces him to move from New York to small town Indiana. The production will feature more than 40 SM North student actors and managers. Shows will be March 26-28 at 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 13 and under.

Google Fiber working on yard restoration in Roeland Park. The city of Roeland Park this week sent a note to residents letting them know that Google Fiber would be working on restoring yards that might have been damaged during the installation of infrastructure over the past months.
