Bishop Miege’s boys soccer team playing in state semi-finals. The Bishop Miege boys soccer team on Tuesday earned a trip to the state 4-1A soccer semifinals with a 3-0 win over Tonganoxie. The Stags will host semi-final play at the Braves Sports Complex in Bonner Springs Friday and Saturday. They face Ottawa High School, 16-2-1, in the semi-final game Friday at 7 p.m. Should they advance to the finals, they’ll play the winner of Rose Hill High School and De Soto High School in the championship Saturday at 2 p.m.
Stolen credit card information used in NEJC purchases. An Overland Park man pleaded guilty to using a credit card skimmer to steal credit card numbers. He used the information to make purchases at a Ranchmart liquor store in Leawood and a Walgreens in Praiire Village among other places.
