Mother Nature has put a damper on this year’s SM North Homecoming Parade.
The annual event, which had been set to roll down Johnson Drive this afternoon starting at 1:30 p.m. has been canceled on account of predicted storms, according to the school’s front desk. The National Weather Service forecast currently calls for an 85 percent chance of rain at 2 p.m.
For the time being, though, the Homecoming football game against Olathe Northwest is still on. We’ll update this post if the status of the game changes.
(If it’s any consolation…here are pics from last year’s parade).
