Three Kansas City, Mo., men are in Johnson County jail following a thwarted burglary in the 3200 block of W 77th St. in Prairie Village on Friday.

Mylon A. Lucas, 37; Rahmil W. McKissick, 28; and Sylvester E. Simms, 23; are each being held on $25,000 bond. Each is charged with burglary of a dwelling.

Police apprehended the three suspects after a foot chase when they arrived at the scene of a burglary in progress when a neighbor alerted them that three men had broken through the front door of a Prairie Village home.
