Prairie Village mayor, city administrator take ice bucket challenge to next level with 200 gallon bath

Wellsir, what with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge having successfully taken over the internet, it was only a matter of time before some of northeast Johnson County’s elected officials got called out to take the plunge. Such was the case late last week when Prairie Village mayor Ron Shaffer and city administrator Quinn Bennion accepted the challenge from former Prairie Village city council member David Belz.

But instead of using a traditional bucket, Shaffer and Bennion decided to make use of their access to some serious public works equipment — namely a loader with a 200-gallon capacity bucket. The real fun starts around :40. Enjoy:
