SM East, SM North students recipients of Shawnee Mission Education Foundation Scholarships

Several SM East and SM North students were recipients of some of the $41,650 distributed by the Shawnee Mission Education Foundation in student scholarships and professional development opportunities during the 2014 scholarship season. Andrew Walter of SM East was the winner of a faculty scholarship in the field of mathematics.

Walter was recipient of the Charles and Virginia Clark Scholarship. SM East student recipients included Elisa Gentry, Jenna Miller and Christopher Rodriguez – Cliff Bath Scholarship for Excellence in Restaurant Hospitality; Ada Throkmorton – A.C. Eley Debate and Forensics Scholarship; Noah Marsh – second place in First National Bank Business Plan Competition; Julia Poe, Shrushti Mehta and Henry Walter – Stepping Stone Scholarships underwritten by Community America; Grace Quinlan and Brit Hoffman – Chuck Sulzen Track & Field Scholarship.

SM North recipients included Corben Tannahill – third place in First National Bank Business Plan Competition; Crysta Moon and Andrew Bonci – North Star Award; Joseph Roubinek – Stepping Stones Scholarship.
