Indian Hills Middle School will be marking its 60th school year this fall.

Indian Hills Middle School opened its doors for the first time on September 7, 1955 to welcome more than 1,000 students that first year. So, when school resumes this fall, it will mark the 60th school year for students at the middle school.

As part of the special events on October 10 to celebrate the anniversary, Indian Hills will recognize families who have had two or more generations attend school there. A display showing the names of those families will be unveiled at the open house scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. that day, which is the last day of the quarter and a no-school day for students.

The display will be brought up to date each year in the future with new families added to the list. If your family is one with two or more generations who have attended Indian Hills, you can fill out the form below and send it to Indian Hills by mail (address on the form) or by email (IndianHills60@yahoo.com).
