Prairie Village police warn of suspicious activity after man blocks Indian Hills girls’ path home

Indian_Hills_Circle_DrivePrairie Village police are seeking information about a man they say appeared to stop two Indian Hills girls from being able to keep walking home. The note the police department sent to Indian Hills parents is below:

On Friday April 11, 2014, at approximately 4:10 PM, two Indian Hills Middle School girls were walking home along 63rd St between Roe and Delmar. An unknown Hispanic male driving a gold colored SUV pulled into a driveway blocking their path. When the girls crossed the street, he pulled across the street and again blocked their path. The girls again crossed back over and continued walking with the male subject watching them. The girls were picked up by a parent in the area of 63rd & Roe. They drove straight to the PD to make a report. The male subject never talked with the girls and left the area. Officers will be conducting extra patrol before and after school this week. Please contact the police if you see any suspicious activity.

Anyone with information about the suspect should contact Detective Adam Taylor at 913-993-0419.
