Festival-goers brave the cold in Mission Friday, then move immediately indoors

Santa pulled into Mission Friday night in his horse-drawn sleigh and immediately made his way indoors. It was a long way from the balmy 60-degree weather of the 2012 Holiday Lights and Festive Sights celebration.

Mission festival smoresA few brave souls chose to stay outside and toast their s’mores over the open fires that were roaring in the community center parking lot. Hardy folk also took advantage of the free sleigh rides that could be boarded at the community center.
