The football team may be getting a lot of love this week, but three SM East soccer players received some exciting accolades as well — and they weren’t the only NEJC high schoolers to make the cut.

The Kansas Soccer Coaches Association named its All State teams, and Lancer standouts Noah Eidemiller and Michael Mardikes got first team honors in the 6A division. Their teammate Andrew McClanahan made the second team.

Bishop Miege players Brandon Ramirez, Nate Mohler and Lucas Franco all made the first team for class 4A-1A, with Ramirez being named defensive player of the year. Nico Marquez made the 4A-1A second team, and Miege’s Joe Huppe was named coach of the year.

Patrick McEldowney of Kansas City Christian also made the 4A-1A first team list. Teammate J.T. Trott made the second team.
