Two years and several dozen rumors later, SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza is set to officially open the doors to its new Corinth Square location Monday.
LANE4 Property Group and SPIN! announced in November 2011 that the growing specialty pizza chain had signed an agreement to open a new restaurant at the northeast corner of the main Corinth Square building. Initial plans called for the restaurant to be open by late 2012 or early 2013. But after CVS vacated the space where the new restaurant was slated to be built in August 2012, engineers found previously unknown structural issues that delayed construction by several months.
Major tenant improvements on the site began this summer. The finished restaurant will have indoor seating for more than 100, with a outdoor patio that can seat 48. The Corinth restaurant’s menu will mirror the ones offered at the other Kansas City-area SPIN! locations. The Prairie Village restaurant will be SPIN!’s sixth in the Kansas City area. SPIN! has recently expanded to southern California as well, with plans to open its second Orange County location this winter.
